As mentioned a few weeks ago, it's obvious isn't it? For this event they needed to use a Voice Over in Portgordon

Since their slogan is "Out of the Ordinary", I suppose the quinessential British voice was the perfect choice for this all-American event.

Must have been interesting saying "or-din-air-ee".

Fantastic! Watching the Oly opening ceremony last night, I'd hoped to see your spots, Banksey. (Did not.)

A couple of things: were you reviewing the PB&J script thinking"Heh. And those Americans think haggis is nasty." ?

And, while watching with the near-DH, I swear I got a wee bit teary at the cow primping, and said to him "I love cows" to which he replied to his near-DW "You think everyone should eat some?"

Really enjoyed those.

Haggis was born out of poverty - waste nothing. My guess is that the PB&J was born out of a fear of poverty.

This is a joint post - Amy and I are just waking up - multi-tasking - chatting - doing email - discussing the conference - drinking coffee and eating oatmeal - and listening to Philip. Just thought you'd like to know that we enjoyed it.

We are installing a stripper pole and webcam for you enjoyment, stand by for details on how to log in.

Why do I think the pole was Amy's idea?

Hey - I can be funny too!

OK, Yes. Fine. It was Amy's idea. But there has been a problem with the installation - looks like it won't be in place until after Amy leaves and Carter arrives - so the webcam will not be goin in as planned - sorry about that!
