Actually Todd...I was wondering if you would.
Seriously, can that cord be replaced?
AND is that generally a good mic?
(Don't worry, I won't be bidding...just wonderin'!) Laugh

This is what happens when you don't keep your cables in order. Another victim of tangled cables.

It's a rare early wireless mic.
Actually, someone said to the owner: "Hey, mama's boy, cut the cord and move on with your life!" I guess he mis-understood.

someone needs to ask the seller how this is actually a "good sounding mic" considering it's condition.

A hearty pat on the head to the nugget that does so. Smile

Crud, I'm going to burn in hell. I asked, "lovely mic but how can it sound good w/ out a cable?"

I'll post the reply, if I even get one, later. Eeeks.

I might bid on this. I like mics with a built in low-pass and high-pass-filter.
The mid-pass filter could come in handy too, even if it's not switchable. It should have extremely low self-noise, and not be susceptible to plosives or mouth noise. Really, using this mic, your clients won't hear anything bad.

It's not often you can come across a rare RCA-74B/XLRNG.

Anyone know which preamp would work best with this?

Edit: I just asked him:

"How would you compare this mic to others that one cannot plug in?"

how about this preamp? http://www.fivefish.net/diy/PM1000/images/pm6.jpg

OMG, we should all jump on and ask him something. Someone has to ask if he can send an audio sample using the mic.
