So how do you handle a situation when your client says he/she has no money? Here is a short story to reveal the secret of how to overcome the "no-money" scenario:

I was outside in front of the house when a man and three of his kids and dog walked by. One of his boys, about four years old asked me if I wished to buy a marble.

I mentioned that I had no money on me he said, "It's only a Quarter!"

So, I pulled my pockets inside-out to show him the empty rabbit ears.

The young boy looks at me and quips: "Wow, you need to go to the bank!"

Kid's gonna make a great sales person! Laugh

Whoops - cant spell in the topic - it should be "A Tip On Overcoming Obstacles"... not a "top".

Somehow Frank, somewhere between the ages of 9 and the onset of puberty we lose that spinyness. Oh yeah now I remember...it's that F.E.A.R. thing.
It's part of being mature and grown up...maybe that Peter Pan thing isn't such a bad idea. Most of us have already got the I won't go to work part done. (you could hardly call something you love doing this much, WORK) Maybe, just maybe we are on to something here.??? maybe.

From the mouth of babes...

Like GP said, it's a shame we lose that ability as we get older.

frank's got a great story there, and Gp has the timeline figured almost exactly.

we manage to hold onto so much of our "child" in this business: the imagination, the pretending, the excitement. how much better to have retained that fearlessness as well.

if that kid decides to hold a seminar, let me know so i can sign up !

Crikey... another workshop that'll get advertised everywhere by someone who never posts otherwise.
