I am looking forward to finally not meeting any of you in person. I'm not booking my flight right now. I shall submit my paper How Not to Voice With Screaming Children Climbing Under Your Skirt and Make Money At Itfor review when I feel it is not ready. If you'd like a copy you may not pay me in Scotch (I prefer Tequila).
Until we don't meet... _________________ 006 member of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Mic. Bonded by sound.

I believe I can actually afford this event. I shall waste no time in scurrying to the venue, which looks charming and delightful. And the spurious itinerary is so
enticing and the fact that the whole event is so elusive is fascinating. Alas, I don't know a Scot or Scott.

I'm pulling a Casper the Friendly Ghost and will so not be there. It will be mypleasure to not buy a train ticket to the wilds of Scotland and to not have to eat the local delicacy of haggis. I'm also looking forward to not learning anything that won't further my career in any way. I also won't be blogging about all the people I won't meet and the amazing studios I won't be visiting.
Bravo Phillip! I think you've hit on a winner! _________________ Pam Tierney

I'm still trying, but I can't seem to find any flights on Pan Am, Eastern, or Peoples Express, either. _________________ www.voiceoverdrew.com

Wow. I'd love to rent Norton Cottage. It has everything I need. I too could not speak on important VO matters while in Scotland. Well Deirdre what do you say? Want to split the rental fees? Besides, I'd like to meet Mrs. Banks. |

Have you tried Laker?
I'm happy to RSVP that I too will not be able to attend this non-information packed event....because reading this thread has crossed my eyes and exploded my head which makes VO a challenge.

Since I can't make it, I suppose it would be good to find out how much it costs not to attend and ask if you take BankAmeriCard. |

Dear Susan,
I would like to attend but I was wondering, can I mail my check next week? I just bought a value pack of genuine simulated-diamond earrings and some authentic Gooci & Fandi bags from the home shopping channel, so I will be low on funds until mister Ogheneme, the nice Nigerian man from the internet, wires the 2.5 million dollars that he promised me to my bank account using the account number, PIN and copy of my passport that I gave him.
Thank you very much for your consideration in this matter.
PS--will there be any books/tapes/books on tape/laser discs that will tell me the 47 easy steps to making a fortune in voice over for sale at this event? If so, I would like to pre-order the complete set. I am very excited to start using the home recording setup that I bought on ebay for only $1000 when it normally would have cost over $15000! Can you believe that? All I had to do was pay via Western Union. Now I just have to wait for it to arrive in the mail--it's been a little over two months now since I sent the money, but the item was coming from Hong Kong, so I guess that's normal! |
