BINGO BABY! Sounds like you got it and it DOES sound cleaner w/out the Gatorade. Congratulations. Kiss Kiss Kiss Kiss Kiss

Jodi,

Once another post appears below the one you've made, there's no way to delete a post, though you can edit the post to remove the contents if you really want to.

I see. Understood. Thanks, Bob. I'll go delete the content of that previous one so that it doesn't annoy people. Smile

Jodi,

I'm not sure, but I don't think you're annoying anyone here. Wink

OK, I'm here to the party late.... 'been kinda busy lately.

I hadn't heard any of your stuff before, and I loved loved loved this demo.

First time hearing it: 'Couldn't understand one word of your first segment -- 'thought I heard a curse word in it somewhere -- but it DEFINITELY made me want to listen more 'cause it was so off the wall.

Gatorade spot didn't bother me one bit, but I thought the Ethan Allen segment was your weakest. 'Just didn't sound convincing.

My 2-cents. Nice going!

Laugh Thanks, Dave. Really appreciate your comments and your taking the time to have a listen. As for Ethan Allen... actually, that's one of MY least favorite segments ... but no one else has mentioned it until now. Wink I liked that I *tried* the Gatorade thing - and I may well go back at a later date and remove the Ethan Allen spot and add something similar once again - something that maybe sounds a little more "real" ... Deb is really one heck of a great voice coach! She took me to some really interesting places ... I'm always learning more with every update and as time passes. I'll definitely keep your comments in mind when I do another update.

Hey Jodi,
I generally avoid critiquing foreign accent demos, but I've got to say that I think yours is great!
.......though it really does sound like you're accusing someone of "f***ing with the TV channels all the time" in that first spot. Gasp

You've done good!
Laugh

Thanks, Steve & Liz. Smile I'm just fine with it if people think I was swearing in that first spot. If it catches folks' attention, that's a good thing. Wink And since I wasn't *actually* swearing, I'm covered. Wink
