Lovely, lovely photos! Wow.
I am convinced that Philip owns the town of Portgordon... I don't think I saw another soul meandering the streets in any of those pictures.
My hubby (Scottish roots) and I (Irish roots/dual citizenship... I don't claim my Polish roots... that's the REALLY crazy side of the family) hope to be able to take a trip abroad to both places. These photos really make me want to go sooner than later.
Thanks for sharing!!! _________________ Caryn Clark... The Hip Chick Voice!

Deebs,
What wonderful pictures
Just LOV-ERLY!
Yep, Banksley...you better warn your fellow Portgordians that there may very well be a flurry of visitors from the colonies invading!

Picture perfect, so to speak. I'm so glad you shared a glimpse into your vacation with us! I'm in awe of the beautiful countryside, right there on the beach. Sigh. _________________ 006 member of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Mic. Bonded by sound.

Great pics. I guess the internet can bring people together. How cool is that? You all look great. And the scenery and history....awesome! _________________ Ben

Best "Show & Tell" evah.
Ya'll look so great.
Thanks for the mid-day fantasy and probably all the vacation I'll get this year even if it was vicariously thru you guys.

| Thanks Deebs for sharing a look at Scotland and Banks Castle. Looks like a great place. I have to add Scotland to my list of places to go. I looked at the castle pics and thought man what a great place to live. I wonder what it was really like? |

I've only been to Edinburgh, and loved it! Though we had taken the train from London, so we did see more of Scotland along the way.
I have always meant to return and linger, wander, and linger some more.
Thanks for sharing your trip with us! _________________ Diane

The beauty of the photos, while it makes me long to visit Scotland (even more than I already wanted to), is tempered by my curiosity over that sign in Holland --- do they really serve fried eggs on tap?
I clearly need to get out more. _________________ Great Voice. Great Choice. For Voice Talking and stuff.
