Here he comes!

It's been raining off and on all day, but tomorrow, the wind is supposed to arrive.

We're just getting the edge here in Southern Maine; Washington County is supposed to get hit.

Here in Lincoln County, we've been getting heavy rain, 2-4 inches last night and I'd guess another 2 tonight so far and Kyle is still hundreds of miles away. The current track has the storm center going by off the coast, but it wouldn;t take much of a diversion for it to hit straight on.

With all the rain we have had leading up to this event, the soil is real water logged, so trees will be coming down in the winds and more rain will cause flooding. The local lake rose about a foot by this morning, although they did have the gate sat the dam wide open today in anticipation of even more rain.

Penobscot County getting very light rain. Steady, but light. Probably as close to Washington County as we get here, eh?

Was watching Kyle on the news last night. You guys be safe up there!

Fortunately we only get a gray day and some showers out of it. Good thing, the brook outside my front door is already 2' above normal from Saturdays storm. When Hannah passed this area the civil preparedness guys stopped by to tell me where to get sand bags :0

We're getting the first edge of ol' Kyle now in N.H. and he doesn't seem that bad yet. He seems just like a little guy and no match for Gloria or Bob.

Yep. No wind here yet.
I was out with an umbrella not too long ago.

After teaching Younger Bear the next HTML lesson in his book, it would be a good time to clear off my aircraft carrier desk in the Camp Cooper office and pray to the gods it can fit out of there when we put in a new door tomorrow.

I think we're putting in a whole new frame, so I bleeb with the door frame OFF, the desk can actually make it out.
