Sorry Todd I'm not telling the broken basket story since I'm already in dutch with Moe's many fans. If you want to hear the story you'll have to hear it from Moe herself.
CC what a saint you are to come to Moe's rescue. I'm sure you only got drunk with her for moral support. |

Oh, I wasn't drinking. I was just along for the ride.
(And actually, neither was Moe... although we did find a couple of Starbucks along the way... but I did offer to stop for a drink if she needed one... you know me, always trying to offer solace and comfort... ) _________________ Charter Member: Threadjackers Local 420 |

Oh, Frank - you're no fun at all!- I was gong to hit Magpie's dreams next
. That would be fun - he he he.
No one's mad at ya Chrissy....except now maybe Edo...with that "In Dutch with" phrase
Okay. Walker story. Chrissy and CC and I carpooled to the Bob Bergen VO Workshops in Boston this past year. Most excellent weekend. Now-- to set the scene imagine after two days of creative bliss - weaving your way through the tiny streets of Cambridge, fending off the classy neighbor lady screaming out her window "Ya cahn't pahk they-ah!" delivering the wonderfully talented and very fun Chrissy back to her digs. I hope out, open the hatch of my big silver van. As I raise the hatch - this vicious walker leaps OUT of the van and attacks me. What could I do? I step out of the way and let it fall to its pain on the cold hard streets of Cambridge. When I was convinced that the beast has roared its last, I pick it up to discover that in its leap from the van, the basket on the front of the walker was busted off.
Then. Chris, being the amazing actress that she is, has me convinced that she's all upset cause I broke her walker (just for second though).... I did feel very badly, but you can see, it was all the walker's own fault...right? _________________ Moe Egan

Just don't try to top that in May, deeyah.
Frankly, I'm surprised you had problems in Cambridge after the ninja driving you did at the Natick mall (oh, sorry... "The Collection"). That was sweet. _________________ Greg Littlefield

I should add to Moe's amazing story that all the way back from the workshop, across the wilds of Boston, Allston, and then Cambridge, that we could hear this growling in the back of the van. It was as if a caged animal were back there. I know that we were concerned about Chrissy being alone with that vicious basket, but we didn't want to scare her... I'd say that Moe did the only thing she COULD do under the circumstances, and that Chrissy was her usual strong self about it.
We all learned a lot that day... _________________ Charter Member: Threadjackers Local 420 |

Just remember folks there are always two sides to every story. It's only fair to go to the source. My poor walker told me that she was growling in pain as she was being tossed from side to side in the back of the van. Moe was taking some of those corners on two wheels. I think she was a race car driver in a previous life. Just ask Bob Bergen about the parking garage nightmare. It looked like we were in a James Bond movie. But I'm not surprised since I lost track of how many drinks Moe had with dinner.
All I know is I got out of the front seat, turned in time to see Moe holding the basket in one hand and the rest of the walker was on the ground. I just felt I needed to defend my basket's honor. No comments please from Diane, Todd, Paddyo, Frank or anyone else.
Now I'm willing to let bygones be bygones or however you spell it. I hold no grudges as long as Moe comes down out of the wilds of northern New England to visit me and bring CC with her. We'll go and have a wonderful Starbucks toast to my basket and move on.
And as for you, Mr. Frank just remember "People who live in glass houses etc."
I do loves ya all!!! |

Ya know, Chrissy, you ARE right... we should get Bob's side of this, even though he missed the last part. He may be able to shed some much-needed light on Moe's motivations that night.

CC your right we should get Bob Bergen's side of the parking garage story. Although he may refuse to comment on the grounds that he may find himself in Moe's car this coming May. Oh dear when I come to think about so mayn't I. Hmmm, my memory isn't what it used to be. Did I say Moe was in my nightmare? I think it was just someone who looked like Moe. Ya that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Now as for you Frank, I didn't blow your cover you did by putting that photo as your avatar. It says Mr. Miami Vice all over it. I kinda wondered if you had been hitting the sauce the last time we Skyped or attempted to Skype together. But I still loves ya too. So many people to love, so little time. |
