Walk out of my front door, head to end of Cathcart Street, walk to beach and then continue walking towards Buckie, it's about 500 yards. You arrive at the old ice house and when the tide is out, this is what you see.

She doesn't like to talk about it, far too painful. Suffice to say the charges were dropped and they were both allowed to return to the colonies without a blemish on their records.
