That is looking great. I love the fabric. And the ceiling. I first saw it and thought, aww, she's going to have to cover part of it. All for the cause, though. Can't wait to see the evolution. _________________ 006 member of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Mic. Bonded by sound.

Looks great DB!
This picture of the demo reminded of how bad plaster dust is. It is so fine and gets into everything. I think my house is finally rid of it after 6 years!
Please keep the updates coming, I love seeing these re-dos. _________________ Pam Tierney

That looks great Deeb. Looking forward to hearing some samples of new work done in the room! Glad you found a source for 703. I was going to recommend ATS Acoustics but it sounds like your probably found a better deal. _________________ Wicked huge.....in India.

If you can, make a freestanding panel for behind you. (You can move it out of the way when not in use.)
The microphone element is pointed at the airspace behind you, and I've noticing in my room, it doesn't so much pick up what's behind it, as it does what's behind me.
And I agree with an earlier post on a ceiling trap. Nothing fancy, another thick fabric hanging low enough to kill the room reverberance. |
