Wow. That's a Cleo and a Emmy right there. What are the UK versions of those two awards called Philip?

Exactly... he's totally getting grounded for taking so long to run to the store.

WOW!

Do you have the budget answer, Philip?

Seems you'd have to sell a lot of extra loaves to justify the cost. Was this a special campaign opening a new market/country? Is there any chance it was "piggy-backed" with some feature film production shoots?

But, whatever the answers -- awesome spot!

I was disappointed because I couldn't enter the contest to win a free loaf of bread. Have to be a UK resident.

I'm sure Philip was aware of this information...

Fittingly, the 2008 advertisement features a new delivery boy and route — one that winds through time as well as space. Directed by a rising star named Ringan Ledwidge, the commercial kicks off in 1886, and takes 122 seconds (an eternity in advertising terms) to move through every ensuing decade. We see women’s-rights prostesters, world wars, and a coronation, as well as striking miners, mods and rockers, and the millennial celebration. Filmed in Liverpool over the course of six days, with a cast of 762 extras, the ad packs more of a punch than most two-hour movies can muster.

likely the budget for anything at all similar would be a mere slice of the cost of that one.
