Hi everyone!
I thought I'd take advantage of this section of the forum and pop my new showreel up. If anyone has any thoughts, I'd be happy to hear them.
My old showreel had accents included in it, but I've decided to seperate my 'real' voice from the other stuff this time, so this one contains just my own accent.
Hope ya like it!

Elisa,
I love your sound. So fresh and inviting. Excellent voice!
The demo? Okay, here is the contructive stuff if you want it. I think it could be better. I am not liking the first spot much as a starter. I listened twice.....the end spot either. I was all "what?". I would end another way other than a car wreck.
The slate was too loud in my opinion and I am not sure about the "hope you like it" line in there as well. It begs to ask, does she thing she is good or not? I would leave it out. You are really good...don't cast any doubt about it.
Some of the spots seem polished and that is fine for what they are. My overall impression when listening deeper into your sound and reads is...."is she talking to me or to many thousands or people?" People can tell. It is the kind of stuff that gives goose bumps when pulled off appropriately. The blood donor spot was very good and on the right track for sure.
I would advise not mixing the radio station sounding promos/ads with the traditional big commericial campaign type of spots. You have enough material and I think you could probably add more to each category to achieve a nice demo for each. Pitch the radio stuff to the radio producers and the big campaign stuff to the ad agencies etc. That is just my opinion though.
Now, go back to the first line and please read it again. You are very talented and you have a great sound. Go get'em! _________________ Ben

Dear Ben,
Thank you so much for your comments. Its always nice to hear other points of view.
I will take all your points into consideration. The general feedback I'm getting seems to be that I could loose the intro and outro...the only thing that makes me slightly reluctant is that I have been booked specifically for that 'style' before!
Ending on the car crash was my idea. I thought it would be a memorable, dramatic effect, though perhaps I should rethink that....lots to consider!
Thanks again for taking the time to pass on your feedback Ben.
It is much appreciated.

Hi Mia!
Thank you so much for your lovely comments! Its great to get some feedback.
I just had a listen to some of your audio and love your character stuff. Thats an area I would love to branch into one day but so far it has all mainly been commercial work that I have done.
Hows LA?! I bet its beautiful and warm!!
Thanks again for your comments! Much appreciated!
Merry Christmas!
