VO-BB - 20 YEARS OLD!

So announced Mrs Banks as she pointed at the ceiling in her office. Rob the carpenter and joiner was due to pop in this morning so I said that I'd ask him what he thought as I didn't like the look of it.

"Mmmmmmm" said Rob with a frown. "That's going to fall down at any moment. I'll pop back in a few minutes with something to prop it up."

Ceiling now propped and while we wait for Rob to return to rip down old unsafe ceiling and replace with a new one I have to remove everything in Anne's office, a place so full of crap that had the ceiling collapsed it would've caused £1,000s worth of improvements.

"Och what a disaster" said Anne's friend Pearl.

"Not really. It'll get sorted and life would be really dull if everything went according to plan".

That reminds me. A couple of weeks ago Ellie our cleaner was doing her thing in my office and Jazz came up to my desk, sat beside me, looked up with his "aren't I lovely brown eyes" and wrapped both paws around my arms.

"Ooooooo nice pose" said I, Jazz just wagged his tail. Ellie who was to the left of me out of line of sight laughed.

"Pardon!!!" As I said nice pose she had just bent over to dust the window sill. It was either good timing or bad timing depending on you point of view.

As of now (barring any complications) we are scheduled to close on our new house in early Nov. Already making a list of improvements we hope to accomplish over the next couple of years. Some we have to (like new exterior paint) some we want to (like an extended lanai)- but I'm sure we will love the adventure of it! Now I just have to make a decision as to which room will be my studio!
