A lot of "producers" who want to pay $25 for a "quick tag line" think they have.

I thought a bit part was a VO of a bite... thus the low pay.

You do a "bit part" in a movie and you still get $700 for showing up and saying your line. Hell, I've made $16,000 off of a one-line part in a movie I did several years ago. So tell 'em they'll be lucky to pay just the standard rate.
