For those who get bored with Halloween, after all of the little ghosts and goblins have left the neighborhood, may I suggest a stroll through a graveyard.
A collection of fallen Voice Artists from the past... and a few others who got caught in the search.

Before you persuade that scaredy cat, highly superstitious friend to take a midnite stroll with you thru the graveyard, some preparations are in order.
Make up a story about an old man that was murdered by some kids who dined on his liver. The leader of the gang was a tough young punk named Johnny. Be sure to mention that every year on halloween, the old man can be heard demanding, begging, pleading that his liver be returned to him because he can not move on to whatever is next in eternity as long as he is not a whole person.
Have another friend hide behind a tombstone. As you approach, your friend in hiding says in a very spooky and plaintive voice "Johnny... I want my liver back. Johnny... I want my liver back...".
I will admit, however, that one ain't nowhere near as much fun as the sign that warns that the bridge ahead is out - when the bridge is actually perfectly fine. Hmmm... Wonder who put that sign there.
Tell a gullible friend that you discovered it is possible to jump the creek if you just get the speed up high enough. Then... |

Alexis Korner is on the list and I was reminded that it was he who planted the Voice Over seed in my soul. I was a spotty teenager at the time and finally got around to doing something about it in 1989. |

If anyone has an address for Stan Freberg, I'd like to write the man a thank you letter before he's added to this list.
His production style opened up my ears even further to possibilities that have actually made this career field fun from time to time. |

In perusing the list I noticed a couple of people who died some time before the end of the American Civil War. I wonder what kind of voice over work they were doing back then. _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

I will certainly give it a try. So far the rest have not been verifiable.
Thanks! |

The search parameters also dug up people with voice and actor in their bio. _________________ "Bailey"

While that list is great to go over (thankyou), I think I just fell in love with Don. Those are my kind of gags. _________________ 006 member of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Mic. Bonded by sound.
