|
|
eDatarack is having a super-dooper sale. $1.95 per month: 5 gigs of space, 100 gigs data transfer.
I will admit that the server my DB-Cooper.com site is on was been plagued with problems last year, but the other sites they host for me have had NO DOWN TIME.
Their tech support is top-notch in my experience.
Just passin' it on. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

For some reason I asked, "Who's Ed Atarack?"
NEway, do your other sites get as much traffic and access to a database as this one does?

I had an Atarack. I think "The Gap" made them. Great rain wear.
That's a good deal for web hosting. I like that they've been around for at least 3 years. |

Hey guys, I use eDatarack to host my website. I can't remember having any downtime since I put the site up, but their tech support IS top notch if you have a question or problem.. You get access to forums (like this one), databases, unlimited email accounts, web users and a whole lot more. I would highly recommend them to anyone (end of commercial). |

I don't use any databases for my other sites, but I get zillions of hits from different media posted all over the place.
I wish they used AwStats for the web stats, but that's my only complaint. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

I have one of those Bill. Bought in back in high school from some "pretend we're going backpacking" outdoor type store. I still keep it in my car. _________________ Hart Voice Overs Blog

Thanx DB! That's great. Their domains are pricier than GoDaddy's but with that soopercheep hosting price bundled in I saved a packet. pjhawke.com is now an official entity.
I love this board.

You know-- you can register a domain with one bunch and have another host your site.
GoDaddy does [nearly] all my Domain name registry.
eDatarack hosts everything but this here VO-BB.com.
We can thank Todd/Scratch for eDatarack. He's the one who told me about them. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

As far as new domain registration goes, www.domains.yahoo.com is hard to beat at $2.99 USD per year for a new domain. |

Yowza...is that if you're just buying the domain or is that a special price they give you if you're buying something else? GoDaddy gives you the $2 domain *if* you buy something else like webhosting. I needed a domain name first to get the webspace at Edatarack so I just one-stop shopped; figured I could get other domains or renew at cheaper places as I find them. Looks like you found one for me, thanx!
PS--Tell Scratch I said thanx mucho for the heads-up, Deebs!..........PJ |

Be careful of the fine print and that it is your domain. Meaning that you are listed as the Registrant and Administrative and that you can move it to another host after 6 months. |

No, that is the price of the new domain on it's own with nothing else to commit too product wise. It's also your domain, not Yahoo's. |
