Kim,
It's the "@" in the middle. Also, when I tried to look at it through Flickr it's giving me a "this photo is private" error message, so that might be part of the problem too, that it's not shared publicly. _________________ Be well,

Blessings and heartfelt gratitude to all who have served.
And as long as we're posting pics, Here's dear old dad (on the right) and mom on their wedding day back in July of '44 (My brothers and I found the old 8mm film while cleaning out the homestead after he passed away several years ago.) He served in WW 2 and Korea. The other couple is dad's twin brother and his bride (or maybe girlfriend).

Diane, yes indeed.
One of the highlights of the morning was that my husband loved it so much and kept saying what a great town this is. Since I dragged him here from his beloved Ann Arbor 12 years ago, that was really wonderful to hear. I don't feel quite so guilty now... |

Joining in the salute to all our veterans. Watching Pvt. Ryan puts a lot of life in perspective.
Two uncles: WWII infantry Europe
One uncle: infantry Korea
One uncle: WWII Air Force in Alaska
One aunt: WWII Parachute packing WAVE in Florida. Some of her gear was on display at the Women's Memorial at Arlington.
Brother-in-law: retired Air Force
All survived. One of the Europe uncles was found shot, lying in snow, thought dead, and thrown onto a passing tank. Revived somewhere along the road.
One of our church members lost a brother on the Arizona at Pearl Harbor. Another had his jeep blown out from under him on Utah beach. He survived. |

Kudos to all of your family members who served or are still serving in the US military.
Special note to Kim White: When does your husband come home? I remember when you posted on the old Savvy board about his latest deployment. Can U update us?
My heart and graditude goes out to everyone who has had or currently has family in the military. Their service makes me proud. They are protecting the U.S. for minimal pay. God Bless them. |
