I was privileged to have worked with Howard while I was at NBC. He was a real gentlemen and always a professional. Now Don Pardo is the only NBC announcer left at the network he has a lifetime contract. The other staff announcer was Fred Facey who died in 2003. It certainly is the end of an era.
