This isn't entirely OT, but there IS another voiceover movie. It's not about the business, but there is a central character who is a voiceoverist playing a voiceoverist. And it's pretty good. If you have streaming Netflix, it's worth a watch:

Watched the trailer for Hello Lonesome. It may be fairly accurate. The VO guy spends most of his day in his underwear.

There are quite a few scenes where he's doing ISDN sessions and, not exactly hilarity, but plot ensues. You really oughta watch.
